WHO WE ARE
South Jersey Young Democrats are committed to promoting civic and political engagement for young democrats in South Jersey. The goal of the SJYDO is to encourage individuals between the ages of 16 and 40 to become politically active in their local communities and to help elect Democrats to all levels of government. We hope through this organization that young people will find an interest in politics and government that will better their lives and their communities. We are a chapter of New Jersey Young Democrats and we serve three southern New Jersey counties including, Camden, Gloucester, and Atlantic.

The South Jersey Young Democrats Executive Board works to facilitate and support the organization. We work to fundraise, recruit, and support young democrats in South Jersey.
WHAT WE DO
We Support Young Democrats Running for Office in South Jersey
The South Jersey Young Democrats works primarily to support young democrats seeking office. We also engage with the community and build networks and coalitions through monthly events, a newsletter, a resume bank, fundraisers and endorsements. We believe the future of America and South Jersey will be determined by the next generation of voters and leaders. It is critical to bring young people into the Democratic Party in order to bring real forward thinking change to our communities and country. Our goals are to elect young democrats to office, bring young people together, and create a stronger, younger and more diverse Democratic Party right in South Jersey.
